These adorable cat toys are handmade and meant to withstand a cat's claws and teeth as they try to get their beloved catnip. They are made with 100% classic cotton yarn because it is not fuzzy like other yarns and is therefore much safer for cats. I use organic catnip because it was my cat, Sweet Mama Girl's favorite. The stuffing is yarn leftover from other projects and may be acrylic so, months, or years down the road if your cat should pull the toy apart, it's time to throw it out.

Sweet Mama Girl was my beloved cat of 17 years. She passed away in my arms and these catnip toys are named in honor of her. I do my best to make them strong enough to withstand a large, strong cat's teeth and claws, while making them cute so that I know they would have passed Sweet Mama Girl's inspection.
